Black Friday

If you enjoy dealing with the crowds and chaos that comes with Black Friday, you are crazy. Although I am obsessed with finding good deals on things that I need (or often things I don't), I hate shopping and would not even consider dealing with this:

While many people woke up at 5am to stand in line and deal with this, I leisurely woke up this morning and could get most of the same things at prices online. Although I didn't necessary need them, I snagged a new 200GB hard drive, a wireless router, and a few other miscellaneous cheapies.

Christmas Lights Gone Wild

Take a look at this amazing Christmas light show. Absolutely unbelievable...I would love to try this some day, but I guess I better fix my broken outdoor outlet first.

Vacation

It's so difficult to allocate time off from work that I decided to make the most of it while I can and took almost 3 weeks off to head to go on 3 mini-vacations to San Francisco, Las Vegas, and San Diego. It's too bad I didn't win big in Vegas because I could have used a lot longer. After all that time off and returning to the office for the first time today, oddly almost nothing has changed. Although several people seemed relieved that I was back and made comments about being gone too long, it must not have been long enough because a number of things have been waiting for my return instead of someone else taking care of them.

Instead of trying to describe all that we saw and did on vacation, I'll post some pictures here within the next week or so...
